The Task:
For this project, I was tasked to pick a social cause to develop a campaign around. Inspired by my love of Sports Design and Baseball, I decided to highlight women in sports with a focus of targeting young women and girls. This campaign was particularly inspired by Kim Ng and Alyssa Nakken, the first female General Manager and first female on-field coach, respectively, in the MLB.

This campaign was created with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, AfterEffects, and the Procreate App.

Not a Wild Card is a social campaign with the aim to promote awareness of women in sports by highlighting current inspiring role models and educating about the history of women in sports.

While there are many facets to promoting women in sports, this campaign focuses on uplifting and engaging the future of women in sports (young women and girls) as a way to push demand for viewership now, and for opportunities in the future.

My first venture into AfterEffects!

This piece is aimed toward the older range of my target audience, as well as the adults in their lives like parents and coaches. Through a visual statistic of inequality, it is are meant to provoke thought and even anger regarding the large gaps in issues such as representation.
